The Netherlands Embassy in Berlin / Economic Department
The primary task of the Economic Cluster is to strengthen Dutch-German economic cooperation, focusing on mutual trade, investment and innovation. The task is carried out by the Dutch network in Germany; the Embassy in Berlin, the Consulates-General in Munich and Düsseldorf and the Netherlands Business Support Offices (NBSOs) in Hamburg, Frankfurt and Stuttgart. This provides a strong economic network with a large number of activities and events.
The focus of the work is on mobility, energy (hydrogen), healthcare (E-Health) and smart industry, with innovation and technological developments as the leitmotif. The aforementioned themes should also better position the small and medium-sized companies and startups/scale-ups.
Netherlands Aerospace Group (NAG)
The NAG is the trade association for national and international organisations established in the Netherlands and active in aerospace & airport development. The NAG has more than 100 members who together represent 95% of the Dutch aviation industry’s revenue. The NAG’s mission is to continuously optimise the Dutch aviation industry’s ability to compete internationally. To realise this collective ambition worldwide, the NAG supports this sector through the development of expert knowledge, advocacy, access to the national and international market, and an extensive network.
Netherlands Business Support Office (NBSO) Hamburg
Netherlands Business Support Offices are the Dutch governmental trade offices outside of the Netherlands. NBSOs support your plans abroad. The NBSOs will help you exporting, setting up a business abroad or looking for market information or business partners.
The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO)
The Netherlands Enterprise Agency supports entrepreneurs, NGOs, knowledge institutes and organisations. We aim to facilitate entrepreneurship, improve collaborations, strengthen positions and help realise national and international ambitions with funding, networking, know-how and compliance with laws and regulations.
RVO is a government agency which operates under the auspices of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. Its activities are commissioned by the various Dutch ministries and the European Union.
Enterprise Europe Network (EEN)
The Enterprise Europe Network is an initiative of the European Commission that helps businesses innovate and grow on an international scale. It is the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with international ambitions.
The Network is active in more than 60 countries worldwide. It brings together 3,000 experts from more than 600 member organisations – all renowned for their excellence in business support. Teams of Network experts in each member organisation offer personalised services to businesses. They know the local business environment and have contacts for business opportunities worldwide. The Network can also offer a targeted approach aimed specifically at your business sector. Its expert groups cover all key economic sectors, from healthcare to agrofood, from intelligent energy to fashion and textile.
